ONLINE ORDERING
How do I place online orders?
Orders can be placed through our website at Tartinebakery.com or you can use these direct links: PICKUP DELIVERY
When is ordering available?
Ordering is available daily, pickup and delivery begins at 8:30am and closes at 3:30pm. Large pastry orders, whole quiches, and cake preorders require 72 hour advance notice.
How far in advance can I place a preorder?
We currently offer the ability to preorder with 1 week advance notice.
How far does your delivery radius reach?
We use Doordash Drive as our partner for 3rd party delivery. The current delivery radius is 5 miles from our store, and are reaching just about anywhere within San Francisco City.
Do you accept take-out orders over the phone?
We are not accepting phone orders, as we cannot guarantee that there is always someone available to answer your calls. To place an order, please use our online ordering platform listed above.
VISITING
Do you accept reservations?
For Dinner only. During the breakfast and lunch hours we are a first come, first serve restaurant.
Do you offer large party reservations or private events?
Yes
Do you offer facility tours?
We do not offer tours, but our kitchens are open and our bread oven is the center of the room so you are welcome to take a peak when dining or visiting the Manufactory.
MENU / FOOD ITEMS
Why do you label items Wheat Free, do you also have Gluten Free items?
Because our food is made in a facility that uses a lot of flour, we cannot guarantee that our items are 100% gluten free, which is why we use the term Wheat Free (wf). We have a few WF pastries available, including our seasonal muffin and cheesecake and many menu items can be made WF as well. When visiting please ensure you let us know about any allergies.
Do you have dairy free items?
Please notify someone about any allergies, but yes we have dairy free pastry and bread items, but most of our pastries are not dairy free. Our Country and Oat Porridge Loaves are both dairy free. Savory items that contain dairy can usually be modified to remove those items, please put in the request and note the allergy.
Do you offer half loaves of bread?
While you may notice that in our Southern California locations we are selling half loaves, we are not currently offering half loaves in Northern California. We also are not able to slice bread for you at this time.
Do you sell your (sourdough) starter?
No, we do not sell starter, but we do have recipes in our books and on our social media to help you make your own!
